Problem Note 31059: Only the last parameter value displays in the SAS® Stored Process Web application when the same label is applied to multiple values
When executing a stored process from the SAS Stored Process Web application, only the last value of a multi-value parameter is displayed in the select list for that parameter when the following criteria are met:
- The stored process was created and registered from SAS® Enterprise Guide®
and contains a "String" type parameter with a constraint list of values
defined. (In this case, the stored process executes correctly from SAS Enterprise Guide.)
- The same "Resolves to" string was specified for more
than one of the parameter list values. For example:
Display as Resolves to
Jan Q1
Feb Q1
- The stored process is being executed from the SAS Stored Process Web
application.
The only circumvention is to eliminate the duplicate "Resolves to" labels. As an alternate approach, you can create a macro variable programmatically with the desired "Resolves to" value in the stored process code. For example:
%if "&month"="Jan" %then %let qtr=Q1;
%else %if "&month"="Feb" %then %let qtr=Q1;
In this example, the stored process code uses the macro variable &QTR instead of &MONTH.
